Patient Group (PPG)

A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of people who are patients of the surgery and want to help it work as well as it can for patients, doctors and staff.

Sandhills PCN is comprised of Sandy Health Centre and Saffron Health Partnership, so our PPG works on developing and improving services for both our member practices simultaneously.

Each of our member practices has their own PPG separate to the Sandhills PCN PPG. The practice PPGs work to improve the services of the practice directly.

We meet once a month for 1 hour on a Wednesday. PPG members are invited to join in person or via Teams.

We are looking for new members to join our PPG. We are looking for representatives from Langford, LGBTQ+ communities, ethnic minorities and ages 18-25.

We are looking for representatives from these specific cohorts due to their lack of representation on our PPG currently.

We want to make sure that our PPG is diverse so that our members can provide insight into the needs of our community.

We are working on improving the delivery of primary care through our services and we value the input of patients for suggestions and ideas.

Join the PPG

If you are a patient of either Sandy Health Centre or Saffron Health Partnership and feel that you can offer insight and suggestions into how to improve primary care services, then you should consider joining Sandhills PCN PPG.

We are looking for specific representatives to join us at this time, however we do have a waiting list for other applicants.

Want to join our PPG?

Simply complete our ‘PPG Sign Up Form’ or ask at your practice.

We ask for your name, telephone number and email address, along with a few words about why you want to join our PPG.

Do you want to be a Patient Champion and lead a specific project for our Primary Care Network?
