A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of people who are patients of the surgery and want to help it work as well as it can for patients, doctors and staff.
Sandhills PCN is comprised of Sandy Health Centre and Saffron Health Partnership, so our PPG works on developing and improving services for both our member practices simultaneously.
Each of our member practices has their own PPG separate to the Sandhills PCN PPG. The practice PPGs work to improve the services of the practice directly.
We meet once a month for 1 hour on a Wednesday. PPG members are invited to join in person or via Teams.
We are looking for new members to join our PPG. We are looking for representatives from Langford, LGBTQ+ communities, ethnic minorities and ages 18-25.
Why are we looking for individuals with these characteristics?
We want to make sure that our PPG is diverse so that our members can provide insight into the needs of our community.
We are working on improving the delivery of primary care through our services and we value the input of patients for suggestions and ideas.
